David Assid, Toll Brothers Division President and Steve Woeppel, Senior Purchasing Manager, paid a special visit to HomeAid’s March board meeting to unveil the new Playhouse design they have created for HomeAid Houston’s 16th annual Project Playhouse fundraiser. The Toll Brothers team named the playhouse Imagination Station. The whimsical design stirs up a playful, comical charm that inspires children of all ages to draw from their imagination as they explore the unique features within its walls. A full array of amenities will delight both children and adults alike. HomeAid, a 501 (c) (3) charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association builds transitional shelters for men, women, children, families and veterans facing crisis situations.
Project Playhouse is a charitable collaboration with the Houston Astros and the Astros Foundation that has raised over $1 million since its inception in 2006. Funds raised will go toward future HomeAid construction projects.
“Toll Brothers has always been committed to supporting charities that give back to our community, said Woeppel. “HomeAid’s Project Playhouse is a fun way to bring together our entire organization to be involved from concept of the design through the construction. We as a team are proud to take part in this effort that will help give back to so many less fortunate.”
David Assid and Steve Woeppel head up the Toll Brothers’ playhouse team that also includes: Brian Murray, Division Vice President; Diana Niven, Division Architectural Manager; Phil Popp, Purchasing Manager; Mike Mandola, Sr. Project Manager; John Bradley, Sr. Project Manager; Dominic Giuliano, Sr. Project Manager; Jared Boyer, Project Manager; Sunni Sanders, Marketing Specialist; Brian Borthwick, Sr. Construction Manager; Paul Zink, Sr. Construction Manager and Parker Metz, Sr. Construction Manager.
