WHO WE SERVE?

We work with 501(c)(3) nonprofit care providers who offer services/shelter to all levels of the homeless population. This may include individuals, families with children, and veterans. These care providers become HomeAid Houston agency partners!

Care Providers that meet the current vetting process of HomeAid Houston Projects.

Care Providers that are under a time constraint to build as it refers to their occupancy funding.

New Construction Project or Renovation Project that will cost/or be valued at more than $15,000 to complete.

HOW DO WE HELP?

HomeAid will seek out a Builder from the GHBA membership who would like to take on a retail build with some discounts—approx. 20% to 35%.

HomeAid will provide Social Media for the announcement of the build and during key points of the project.

WHAT WILL THE BUILDER RECEIVE?

The ability to make an impact in the community with a HomeAid Project without the added work of seeking out large discounts from vendors/ materials.

The ability to work directly with the agency on timing, pre-development, etc. of the project.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT/EXONERATION

All parties will sign a (new) LOA that is designed for the HomeAid Connects Projects that will protect HomeAid, Builder Captain and the Agency.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?

Builder will carry their own insurance policy for any HomeAid Connects Project. (There are other HA Affiliates who provide the Wrap Insurance, but it is not necessary for us to do so if we feel that this would be a hindrance to the Builder)

WHAT DOES HOMEAID GAIN BY USING HOMEAID CONNECTS?

We are able to count both real estate financial impact in the community as well as number of beds added to the community.
