Greg N. Tomlinson grew up in Kingwood, Houston, and graduated from Kingwood High School in 1984. He attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1989. After returning to Houston, he began his career in the post-tension industry. In 2001, Greg co-founded Builders Post-Tension (BPT) with Brian Q. Conley and Rocky Phillips (RIP).

He joined the HomeAid Houston Board of Directors in 2010, serving for nine years and as President in 2015. Greg is a passionate supporter of HomeAid Houston, which provides housing for Houston’s homeless population, and Operation Finally Home, a GHBA charity that offers free housing to military veterans.

Greg attributes much of his success to his active involvement in the GHBA, stating, “My success in this industry is a direct result of my lifelong active membership in the GHBA, both as an individual and as a company. Not to mention the lifelong friendships that were created due to my involvement.”

Greg resides in The Woodlands with his wife of 29 years, Leslie. They have three daughters: Madeline, a UCLA and Baylor College of Medicine graduate, now a pediatrician at LA Children’s Hospital; Chloe, a Tulane graduate working in venture capital in Austin; and Emma, who is currently in college.
