HomeAid's Project Playhouse 2020 Team from First America Homes unveil "Mission Control" to launch this annual HomeAid fundraiser.
Representatives from First America Homes, a Signorelli Company, launched “Mission Control”, HomeAid Houston’s 14th annual Project Playhouse at a recent HomeAid Board Meeting. The launch was the official unveiling of the design that was created by First America Homes and is also being constructed by their team. Mission Control will be on display at Minute Maid Park during the Astros home stand from July 7 to the 29th in Section 150. The playhouse will feature numerous amenities that appeal to children from ages 1 to 100.
On hand for the launch from the design/build team were: Kris Moreno, director of construction, Homebuilding Division; Kristen Rinewalt, purchasing manager, Homebuilding Division; Siedah Chaney, purchasing coordinator, Homebuilding Division; Angelina Naspretto, marketing manager, Homebuilding Division, Codi Bishop, junior graphic designer and Sandra Ferguson, marketing director, the Signorelli Company.
The team is being led by Dave Barnhart, division president, Homebuilding Division. Sandra Ferguson sold the first ticket to HomeAid Houston President, Jim Muska. Team Project Playhouse at First America Homes also includes CEO, Danny Signorelli and Ramiro Gonzalez, vice president of sales, Homebuilding Division.
“The unveiling was a much-anticipated event for the HomeAid board and staff,” said Muska. “This is a unique opportunity for the two companies to collaborate on an important fundraiser for HomeAid that will raise funds to help stabilize the lives of homeless men, women and children. We look forward to the playhouse’s temporary home at Minute Maid Park this summer.”
First America Homes joined HomeAid’s Project Playhouse to help raise valuable funds to allow the non-profit to construct and remodel shelters for its homeless care agencies they work with. The Playhouse collaboration is also in partnership with the Houston Astros and the Astros Foundation.
“On behalf of the entire First America Homes and Signorelli Company team, we are truly honored to have been selected as the builder lead for Project Playhouse this year,” said Dave Barnhart. “We are excited about this year’s space-themed design which features an operable Dutch-style spaceship door and a fun slide, along with a flat screen TV, gaming system and gaming chairs.”
