United States Veterans Initiative

HomeAid Houston, David Weekley Homes, GB General Contractors, and Lynne T. Jones Interior Design joined together to remodel the day room and adjoining bathroom of the United States Veterans Initiative's Mid Town Terraces facility. Improvements included redesigning the space, repairing and painting, installing new flooring, replacing the existing sink, toilet, light fixture, and mirror, refurnishing the room, and providing additional electronics, such as televisions, a game console, a Blue-ray player, a microwave, and a coffee pot.

United States Veterans Initiative serves homeless and formerly homeless men who have served our country. U.S. VETS provide comprehensive services to veterans, including case management, employment assistance, job placement, counseling, as well as drug and alcohol-free housing. Veterans progress through a seamless continuum of services designed to help increase their level of responsibility and prepare them to live independently in the community.
