Montgomery County Youth Services
HomeAid Houston, Grand View Builders, and the Montgomery County Builders and Developers Division of the Greater Houston Builders Association worked together to build a 600 square foot climate-controlled storage facility for Montgomery County Youth Services, located in Conroe, Texas. This newly added structure allowed the agency to reclaim much needed residential space previously used for storage.
Montgomery County Youth Services, a United Way agency, serves the needs of runaway, homeless, and other at-risk youth, ages 10 to 17, from all over the state of Texas. Montgomery County Youth Services provides crisis counseling, prevention services, and short and long-term shelter programs to strengthen families, keep youth in school, and prepare them to be productive citizens. Shelter services consist of street outreach services, the BridgeWay Youth Emergency Shelter, and the Fairway Home Transitional Living Program.
