Crossroads at Park Place
HomeAid Houston, the Greater Houston Builders Association's Remodelers Council, Greymark Construction, TriFection Remodeling & Construction, and Whodid It Designs joined together to complete the first part of a two-phase project for Crossroads at Park Place. Phase-one consisted of refurbishing the agency's old, portable shower units, which included 4 shower stalls. Work included repairing the exterior shell of the buildings, gutting and replacing the interior and exterior mechanics, and installing new water heaters, doors, stalls, hardware, siding, roofing, benches, and stairs.
Crossroads at Park Place, a Christian organization, is committed to promoting the health, hygiene, and dignity of individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and poverty in southeast Houston and serves an average of 200 to 250 individuals every day. The programs and services have expanded from providing immediate basic needs to assisting participants in finding housing, employment, counseling, and healthcare.
