A Caring Safe Place

HomeAid Houston partnered with Sandcastle Homes to renovate and remodel A Caring Safe Place's facility. The project included replacing the flooring, renovating the kitchen by providing new appliances, countertops, and tile backsplash, repairing the interior drywall, exterior siding, and roof, painting the interior and exterior, restoring the security system, power washing and restriping the parking lot, and adding new interior and exterior lighting.

A Caring Safe Place provides crisis intervention as well as an array of services to some of Houston's most vulnerable homeless, and chronically homeless, population, including men who are HIV positive or suffering from mental illness, abandonment, or substance abuse issues.
