HomeAid Houston Announces Legend Homes as 2021 Project Playhouse Builder
HomeAid Houston, a 501 c 3 charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), recently announced their 2021 builder for their annual Project Playhouse fundraiser, a charitable collaboration with the Astros Foundation that has raised over $1 million since its inception in 2006. HomeAid is partnering with Legend Homes on this 15th playhouse that will raise funds through ticket sales, for HomeAid projects. Legend Homes’ entire organization will be taking part in creating the playhouse, from design through to construction.
“HomeAid couldn’t be more pleased and excited about this new partnership with Legend Homes,” said James Miller, president of HomeAid Houston. “We are looking forward to working with their entire team of professionals who are as eager as we are to get this playhouse to the public, to raise valuable funds for those in crisis within our community.”
Legend Homes has already begun the creative process on their design and will be unveiling the 2021 playhouse in June. The playhouse will be on display to the public later this summer at a location soon to be announced.
“Legend Homes is honored to have been selected as the builder for the 2021 Project Playhouse in conjunction with HomeAid Houston and the Astros Foundation,” said Legend Homes CEO Blake Roberts. “We’re looking forward to the opportunity to work alongside both organizations to bring our love of homebuilding to this unique project that will positively impact the Houston community and the lives of Houston’s homeless.”
