HOMEAID RECEIVES FUNDS FROM DPIS ENGINEERING CHARITY EVENT

HomeAid Houston has for the fifth consecutive year, been the beneficiary of the DPIS Engineering charity crawfish boil called “Pinchin’ Tails for HomeAid Houston”.  The event normally raises over $30,000 for HomeAid’s mission, “to build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach”.

With the unfortunate mandates due to COVID 19 this year, the event was cancelled but several sponsors requested their funds be donated directly to HomeAid.  A check for $5100 was presented by Brannon King, DPIS to Carole Brady, HomeAid Houston’s executive director at the DPIS office in Tomball.

“DPIS Builder Services has been supporting our community for years,” said Brannon King, vice president of sales and marketing.  “ HomeAid Houston has been a charity of choice for our company because of their commitment to provide shelters for those facing homelessness. Though this year we couldn’t hold our annual Pinchin’ Tails fundraiser, we were still honored to receive sponsorships that went directly to the charity. We can’t thank those sponsors enough for their generosity.”

“The DPIS Pinchin’ Tails for HomeAid event is becoming legendary for its family fun and out- of -this -world flavors,” said Brady.  “HomeAid is honored to be selected as the beneficiary for the past five years and we can’t thank DPIS, Brannon King, the event chairman, and of course the generous sponsors who decided to commit their sponsorship funds to the work that HomeAid does for Houston’s homeless.  We cannot thank the sponsors, DPIS and everyone else who works on this fundraiser enough for sharing our vision.”

Sponsors donating their funds were Toll Brothers, Design Tech Homes, Lennar Houston, Boyar Miller Law Firm and 84 Lumber.
