Mission of Yahweh
HomeAid Houston returned to Mission of Yahweh for the renovation of two multi-person bathrooms at the Sister Gay Children's Home, in the Spring Branch neighborhood. Assistance included providing over $5,000 in donated tile, new doors, plumbing, light fixtures, and a washer and dryer.
Mission of Yahweh is a faith-based shelter that empowers, enriches, and restores the lives of homeless women and children and provides outreach services to low income families. The doors of Mission of Yahweh are always open for families in crisis and supports more than 2,300 residential stays each month. The agency not only gives food, clothing, and shelter, but is also committed to helping residents become self-sufficient and productive members of society. In addition, the agency provides thousands of Houston and Carverdale area residents with donations of food, clothing, school supplies, and other necessities.
